Entry 35: Last Rest Day LA // Im Gona Miss Lil' Tokyo

It definitely feels like Ive overstayed my welcome here in LA. Every day has been way too hot and all the good food is on the pricey side. 

Found myself a new bike pump and I almost forgot to leave it on my bike when I went out to explore Little Tokyo (didnt want to repeat the mistake I made yesterday).  Lil' Tokyo is definitely bigger and more lively than Japantown in San Francisco. I found myself a nice izakaya called Kouraku and got nice and buzzed off of import beer. And I chased down my bar food with an ice cream from Somi Somi that used taiyaki as an ice cream cone (pretty novel idea). So I had a great last meal in LA and I kinda' regret sleeping on Lil' Tokyo but now I have an incentive to come back to the city of angels. But for now, I cant wait to finally see my new digs in Berkeley.
