Entry 28: Sleeping At A Total Cat House Tonight.

Started today by packing my tent while it was still dark. I left right as the sun started to peak thru and it was a pretty easy day compared to the last 2.
While I was riding, I thought I saw some more roadkill....nope this thing was still alive and had a noisy tail. Man I almost got bit by a rattlesnake. The thing did a quick jolt at me. Luckily I was too fast (somehow 12mph is fast enough to out maneuver a rattler). That shook me a bit.
The next critter I came across was a bit nicer. I picked up a hitchhiker and the lil guy stook on me for a good mile before jumping off. It was noce having some company, however brief.
(This grasshopper hung out on my knee as I was pedaling)
Managed to make it to the town of Duncan and to be honest, its kind of.....vintage I guess. It definitely shows its age.
(Got myself dinner here)
The bed & breakfast has a special rate for long distance cyclists like me and they also take in stray and rescue cats.
Today I rode 37 miles and spent $5 for breakfast, $5 for lunch, $15 for dinner, and $90 for my stay at the Simpson Hotel.
