Entry 27: Finally! A 2nd Shot At Camping!
Started my day off strong with some greasy, buttery good donuts. Not such a boring 60 mile day today. Actually it was pretty boring, but I did run into another cyclist at a trading post. This guy was doing the Great Divide route from north to west. Also the people at the trading post immediately ID'ed me as a cyclist. Told me I just had the look. Go figure.
Also, my front tire popped a flat, I found 2 stapled poking thru my tire, who the hell throws staples out onto the side of the road?!
Besides that my ride was pretty uneventful. Finally got to my campsite and Im pretty sure Im gona watch Fort Apache with Henry Fonda tonight. It doesnt seem like Ill need to sleep in the bathroom like last time I tried camping in Florida (dang that was long ago wasnt it?). But Ill let you know otherwise (it better not rain tonight or Ima be pisssed).

Hi Nick! I just realized that we can leave comments! So first: it's amazing that you're biking by day and blogging by night. Thank you for sharing what you're seeing and experiencing... you are a hilarious observer and writer. And you may think parts of your trip are boring but it's not boring to us at home. A few belated comments: HAPPY BIRTHDAY! And the night you slept in the bathroom was... yikes for this germaphobe but glad you had AC. Lastly, I think you should give yourself a special treat like donuts or ice cream every single day. I'm going to find out what your venmo account is so we can contribute to the "daily treat" fund. Have fun! -- Lora
