Entry 24: New Time Zone! // Texas Isnt Hard To Look At...When Theres Actually Something to See
Drove to El Paso pretty early this morning. I slept allright in the back seat of the pickup I rented.
(It was actually pretty dark when I left)
The Texas countryside is a mix of flat nothing and flat nothing, but with some grandiose mountains in the far distance.
Anyway when I made it to El Paso I had the skinniest burrito and the tallest beer for lunch (I should've been tipped off by how meager my burrito was gona be cause it was only $6 on the menu). I really couldnt complain tho, cause I didnt burn that many calories today while driving. For dinner I ate some more Texas brisket and hopefully this time tomorrow Ill be in New Mexico.
Today I drove 395 miles and spent $50 for my stay at the Econolodge, $12 for lunch and $30 for dinner
