Entry 22: Rest Day Houston // SPAM For Lunch!

So I took it kinda easy today. I rode 20 miles buying up stuff that I lost during my day on Entry 20, but it was easy nonetheless. I had to buy bungee cords from REI and a power bank from Best Buy cause I lost both in the chaos of Entry 20.

I stopped for lunch at Burger-Chan and dammit, they serve a pretty good meal. And by good meal, I mean I got a burger with SPAM (the gold standard of canned meat)!

Man I hope this burger joint expands to the west coast 

Sadly I met a new hiccup today (this feel like a running gag at this point). My train tomorrow from Houston to El Paso was canceled due to a workers strike... So now the plan is to rent a car and drive it to El Paso. Today I spent $80 on my hotel room, $26 on lunch (definitely in the top 5 lunches for this trip) and $20 for dinner.
