Entry 18: Got my 1st Flat

Glad to have made my way out of New Orleans. I had a great time there but I also tanked alot of my money too (mostly on booze). Turns out New Orleans didnt want me to leave cause the city gave me a rough send off. The roads out of NOLA where hot gabage. Potholes and uneven roads everywhere. By the time I finally got out of town and onto the Mississippi Trail, my rear tire went limp. Mustve gotten a pinch flat riding thru NOLA.
Luckily the Panracer tires I bought are easy to take off/on. A fellow cyclist saw my distress and kept me company. Clyde's a local thats been riding for a long time. He checked out my map and told me about the area I'd be going thru. We shook hands and we rode our seperate ways.
(Pretty industrial part of town).
Today I rode 35 miles and spent $103 at the Laplace Inn and $13 on dinner.

  1. Hey Nick! Highly recommend installing these liners in the tires. I never had a flat since. https://www.amazon.com/Mr-Tuffy-Ultra-Bicycle-Orange/dp/B0032V8HNG/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=18PS0ISXK26XE&keywords=tuffy+anti+flat&qid=1663716425&sprefix=tuffy+anti+flat%2Caps%2C1263&sr=8-1
