Entry 8: I Slept In A Campsite Bathroom Last Night!
So remember my last entry when I said it was too hot to camp? Well it was, I tore down my tent and moved all my stuff to the campsite bathroom where there was AC. First I set up in the handicap stall but then in the back of my mind I worried about what if someone handicapped had to use the toilet tonight and also, their where two other toilets right next to the handicapped one and I didnt want to have to wake up to some ripe new smell in the middle of the night.
I would have slept like a king!
So I moved all of my stuff again, but this time to a shower stall. It was kinda cramped but at least I had AC and the bathroom didnt smell like a bathroom.
I woke up at 4am and was out of the campsite by 6am and I was kinda scared I was gona be attacked by an alligator or some campsite horror story. Today's ride wasnt too bad, tho it did take alot out of me. I didnt see as much roadkill today which was a nice change of pace (I only counted two dead armadillos and one dead possum today). Tho, bugs kept flying at my face. It must've been mating season cause alot of the bugs were flying tandem and they werent doing it well cause they kept crashing into me. I made a new benchmark today, I've officially left the eastern and have crossed into the central time zone so I gained an hour.
Today I rode 50 miles and spent $78 at the Bonifay Inn and spent $15 on lunch and dinner.

Hi Nick, really excited for you! I'm looking forward to reading all of your blogs! Kyle and I drove cross country from California to North Carolina. It was so interesting. We were on a schedule so didn't get to stop too much to visit the sites but we still hd fun. Have a great time. Safe travels! -Erin
